most twice as much as in the previous year. The surplus came
mainly from the good cargo business and from Lufthansa Technik.
CEO Carsten Spohr is optimistic about the current year. The
group wants to exceed the sales record of 2019, when revenues of a
good €36 billion were achieved.
The adjusted operating result is
also to be increased further. The
target here is €1.65 billion.
Almost the entire long-haul
fleet is getting a completely new
cabin. The in-flight product called
Allegris covers all four classes. For
the first time, First Class will have
suites with ceiling-high walls and
lockable doors. In Business Class,
clients can choose from eight different seat types. Lufthansa is
spending around €2.5 billion on
its innovation drive by 2025. In
autumn, the new in-flight product
is to take to the skies in the first
Dreamliners.
